Do not loose sight of the fact that Kleinman is a religionist trying to justify his fantasy. He needs to disprove evolution in anyway he can. He believes that if he can so muddle the math of unrelated studies, he can prove that the natural flow of genetic information in living systems is not sufficient to explain the great diversity of life this planet has produced. Obviously, some other mechanism, like the majik poof of ID fiat creationism, is the only viable mechanism for such diversity. So he has to get rid of natural genetic variability by claiming it is too slow, cumbersome and insufficient to have created this diversity. He must also kill UCD and the appearance of nested hierarchies in the fossil record.
He does this by obfuscating his math, lying about his results, mis-representing the science behind the mechanisms and outright deliberately fabricating false titles for his sources as his support. He is a known and proven liar.
He is no more than your typical intellectually dishonest religious nutjob trying to fight the demon of evolution. And with his background he knows very well how the math actually works but is clever enough to hide it from most with his smoke and mirrors. That makes him a certified, bona fide, charlatan, out to deliberately deceive in the name of his evil spooks.
