They know that cancer cells are not exact clones of each other and if they were only able to kill 99.99% of cancer cells (because some of the variants are resistant to their therapy), their treatment would ultimately fail unless Alyssa's own immune system could kill the remaining 0.01% of cancer cells. It doesn't matter what the treatment is. If the treatment doesn't work on 100% of cancer cells, the treatment will ultimately fail (unless Alyssa's immune system can kill any remaining cancer cells). That's why her doctors are monitoring Alyssa. Your science is based on hope. Learn how cancer treatments fail, it is evolution, not your sloppy application of hope.
