Choosing a faith

Phat, the Bible is more than one Book; it is a collection of
66 Books. It is the finished product of numerous authors,
all led by the Holy Spirit of God.It is the most important Book in the history of the world. It
is not a science book, but it contains many claims that
science has never been able to disprove.I have gathered information from many books during my
lifetime. However, none of these other books were written
with the same goal and purpose as the Holy Bible.Jesus loves atheists; He loves sinners; and, He loves
those who ridicule Him.Jesus loves all of us. To love is at the very core of His
devine nature.The issue is not if Jesus loves us, but rather or not if we
love Him.I have always kept firm in that God wants all of us to
come into the knowledge of the truth. And that in His own
time God will open the doors of salvation to everyone.I have even answered one, if not the biggest deterent to
truly being able to love God. And, that is: why does God
allow so much suffering in this world?Since you do not accept much of the Bible, why does your
church state that He allows so much suffering.Why are there so many people that have never heard of
their only possible Savior?What will be the end relationship between God and the
saved?You are not my enemy, Phat. I do not come to this site in
order to win a debate.And, you might think that I am at times arrogant. But, I
assure you that this is not the case. Arrogance is not a
virtue; it is a vice.I simply speak boldly. I do not allow myself to be bullied
simply because academia believes a certain way. If there
were some merit, some evidence of evolution, I would not
blindly dismiss it.And, yes! God commands us to love one another.But love does not consist of teaching others that is is
acceptable to be an atheist. Love does not consist of
telling others that God approves of those who violate
His laws; statutes; and, Commandments.2Corinthians 11:14-15 makes it clear that Satan and his
ministers can appear to be righteous, and that their words
can appears as righteous words.Solomon states in Proverbs 14:2 "There is a way that
seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways
of death."The Holy Bible is God's instruction Booklet to us. When a
ministers teaches something that contradicts this
instruction Book, he is to be rejected.In Luke 14:27-29 Jesus commands those who seek to be
His disciple to "count the cost." It is not an easy road to
follow.In Luke 7: 46 Jesus declared "And why call ye me, Lord,
Lord, an do not the things which I say?"Jesus states in Matthew 7: 21- 27 that not all who call on
Him shall enter into His Kingdom. This is reserved for
those who do the will of the Father.John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my Commandments."Some verses are so crystal clear that it takes a deliberate
act to try and discredit them.1John 2:3-4 "And hereby we do know that we know Him, if
we keep His Commandments."4. "He that says, I know Him, and keep not His
Commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

Are we called to give everything up? Whom do we give it to?
