I have been lurking here for around 3 years, and have just now registered. I have learned a great deal from the debates, but for what it's worth, the PNT and Bootcamp appear to be one of the reasons for the downfall in the quality of the posts.
I used to love the frequently good if not in some cases annoying posts of Rrhain; the lunacy of Desmoda (sp? PLEASE come back, D!) and John's debate in one of the Flood threads, and the way in which he absolutely demolished his opponent, was striking.
My opinion is that the admins (and BTW, I know it is a selfless act to administer a board, and many thanks to the few that do it) are somewhat forced to baby sit the few posters that personally attack the others, which is silly because in the first place this IS a debate board, and people are going to have hurt feelings once their position is questioned, even if the intention is not ridicule of the poster.
I agree with Brian, let’s end the PNT and Bootcamp, open Free for All and have at it again.

Jar - True, Linux is not UNIX; but, it's a start. Gentoo is pretty close as far as an OS compiled to your hardware.
GL IMO is the ultimate story of redemption (well, the Hal Jordan line from 1990).

Regretably, I do not have that one. However, I would assume he will wear it on one of his legs (or whatever those bottom appendages are). But, how does DKRTZY RRR, Eddore or Mogo wear the ring?
Hey, I remember reading a few of your posts that you play D & D and M:TG; do you still? I play 1rst ed AD & D (tried 3rd, but did not like it), but have been out of Magic for awhile now.

PLEASE email me or post the url here; I don't want to make fun of her, I can relate. I used to BE like that, years ago, and it may be a bizzare fetish, but I like to converse (or observe the conversations) with people that are in the frame of mind that I used to be in.
