Salvation is not a "moment" - it's a process that lasts until death. The "moment" you refer to simply marked the point at which you first became converted to the faith - the beginning of your road to salvation. It doesn't mean that at that "moment" Jesus issued you with an irrevocable ticket to eternal life ... that happens only after you are judged by Christ on the last day.
Millions of people experience a "moment" of conversion which you call "salvation", but millions of them don't last and eventually slide back into unbelief. So it's silly to claim you've been "saved" as soon as you believe.
You are limiting the Creator of all seen and unseen, present in every hypothetical multiverse and dimension that exists to a position in spacetime. Thats your error.
Jesus is God. He is God in the sense that He is representative of Gods thinking. There is simply no way that anyone can understand the mind of the OT God, for example, without knowing the character of Jesus. Hence they are not two seperate characters. Jesus IS Gods character. Not Buddha. Not any of the Hindu deities. Not Allah. and certainly not any joke such as a spaghetti monster or wannabe god fearing pastor. (or church)
It is true that there is One church. And it is true that there is one God. Ask Jesus. He never said He was God, but He *did* say that if you've seen Him you have seen the Father. He *did* say that "I and my Father are one." Never for a minute did He pray to Himself. Thats what people essentially do these days in secular America.
ringo even accuses me of doing it because he says I "make up the Jesus that I want" and then pray to Him. In other words I worship my comfort and entitlement more than I do the Jesus Who actually is. Even as a believer, I am scared of giving everything up. Critics would say that either my belief is weak or that I am not really a believer.
