Ok I want to have a debate about Religion and if any of them serve anything good from them. I will start
Religion has Brought on most of the Wars in this world and still leads people to hate others outside their own faith.
Your turn give me a pro or negative religion statement not a big post just something short like this.

Look at all the things still going on. I mean its insane..... the Jewish and Islam... Look at all the wars and the people killed over religion... Given a Good amount of wars aren't religion problems(mainly now but the hate still exists) Remember World War 2? I can go on and on. thats what I meant. I guess this isn't going to be the way I intended the topic but this is fine to.
Even though religions say they promote good things That mainly isn't the chase. How many times have you heard a negative comment toward another religion "stupid Jews" etc.... They teach peace but most don't follow it. I know for me Being away from religion keeps me more open minded to other people Very little do I discriminate. I hated much more as a christen.

Amazing I am not religious and I don't have no will to kill anyone.... Are you aware that studies on murders have shown the brain works alittle different then the average person? So are you saying if people weren't raised to believe killing is wrong they would Kill for fun? Doesn't seem like much fun to me.... But it might be to you....
....................................................
Did you know Christens have been responsible for a good amount of killings due to the religious differences? and that they forced other people to Become christen?
............................................
As for Adam and Eve I can see you haven't been here very long that Is a huge topic here..
I am sorry but I need to ask these again
1)If God is not Evil why did he tempt them with them with the tree?
isn't that Evil to tempt?
2) How can you understand what God said is good when you don't know the difference between good and Evil? It clearly states in the Bible that they didn't know the difference before they ate the fruit. How could they know that the serpent was evil and God was good?
Here is an example choose between these words
supigloprgoge and ereytigerplop
One will damn you forever and the other will save you. Choose one RIGHT NOW!

Re: spanky spanky naughty Mikey
yes But if you did make a Mistake it was also understandable... you where a child who was learning... and you wouldn't be punished for that one mistake forever where you?
But what you also fail to realize is that the Bible seems to imply that they where also unable to comprehend good and evil Until after they ate the fruit. so they couldn't learn the difference! so where they wrongfully punished? isn't that unjust?

Re: spanky spanky naughty Mikey
you didn't answer mike sorry... the real question is if you are incapable of even learning the difference between good and evil should you be punished?

Everytime this topic is brought up it never fails you guys seem to misunderstand what we are saying....
So here goes AGAIN
How can you know listening to that ONE AND ONLY rule is the right (or good) thing to do when you are unable to comprehend Good and evil?
this means they are unable to figure out these things
God = good
serpent = Bad
Not listening to God = Bad
According to the Bible they didn't not know good and evil until they ate the fruit.
Also it never says anywhere in that area of the bible that the serpent is satan just to let you know<

Re: They knew NOT...or did they?
No Matter what you guys never get the point of what we are saying.
you agree that they weren't able to comprehend the Good and Evil and right and wrong(good and evil) correct? Yet you think they should have done the right thing? I hate to say it but that makes 0 sense..... if you don't get it this time I will stop its not worth the time... I have done this WAY to many times...
ok here goes again.
If you don't comprehend the difference between Good and evil ... how Can you know that obeying God's command was the right thing to do?
As soon as someone told them different they did that as they cannot tell the difference between the 2 .... understand? If not I give up... It will mean you are too Blinded by your faith to see the flaws in what you believe to be true...
But the way I see it your God was VERY careless.... and Unjust
