why should people get good lives?i've had a particularly terrible life and i've kind of enjoyed it. it's made me stronger and better and helped me to appreciate the small beauties. and please don't try to tell me my life isn;t bad because i'm rich enough to have a computer and i don't have to drink dirty water everyday. there are different kinds of bad. we each get the limit of what we can stand.

if you want to just put down loose quasi prose, you have to be good at it. you need work. try starting with method and then evolve. you have to know the rules in order to be entitled to break them.

who are you to be so arrogant as to say that my life is less bad? i was abused as a child, my father died when i was young, i've done migrant farm work, last summer i lived on popcorn that was in my house because i couldn't buy food. and there's oh so much more. tragedy is tragedy; evil is evil; hate is hate. all is equal; all is atrocious.the solution to ending atrocities is to do something, not piss and moan on a message board. i'm studying political science and about to start my masters. i intend to be a peacemaker. i have specific intentions to personally combat the darkness in this world. you write poems and proclaim to be informing us. i promise you, we know.This message has been edited by brennakimi, 05-14-2005 06:27 PM

the only income i had last summer was my tuition assistance. it covereve my tuition and my $100 "rent" my friend let me pay to crash at his house. i had my computer from freshman year when my mom did help me with school. i couldn't get a job because i had classes all day every day. and i mean all day.i did migrant farm work cause sometimes you have to do migrant farm work.
