Jesus Christ couldn't change us
Gandhi couldn't change us
Mohammed couldn't change us
Buddha couldn't change us.
They could, and they did. Among many countless others. The human race today is way WAY better off than it ever was before. You should be thankfull for the people you mentioned.

Oh really,
because I see a world that justifies evil actions with good men.
If this ethnocentric, polluted, corporate world is better than "how it was before" than I don't know what to think.
How about a time where the injustice you speak about was not only common place but accepted? Think of the Middle Ages, think of Ancient Rome. There was a time in this world where there was no room for "good men", and what was considered good would today be called "evil".
Homans are pretty nasty critters, but we are evolving. And I belive firmly that we are better off today than we ever were before.
