Hypocrite it is, then. The irrelevancies you think you are seeing are a result of you not being able to follow your arguments to their logical conclusion. But you've never been able to do that so I don't think you ever will. Oh well.

Must be the Jesuits. It was me. I put in a call to the Jesuit Army Hotline and let them know there was a protestant that needed to be snuffed.

Lots of abuse was hurled on this topic, no question there, but not by me. You may want to go back and edit Message 37 (unedited):

In retrospect, maybe we shoulda spent more effort on rigging the midterm elections and less on sabotaging the obscure blog of a complete nonentity. Well its a delicate balance... The Jesuit Army can't engage in so much influence that everybody knows what they're up to, they can only do just enough so that the protestants are aware of their evil doings but nobody else can find evidence for it.

And didn't god (who is Jesus) promise not to kill us again? And to prove it he gave a rainbow (which is about as gay a sign as you can get). Heh, God said that he would not kill us all again with a flood. He left other options open

Calling those who have a legitimate basis for opposing gay marriage on the basis of the Bible or on historical facts, "haters" and "homophobes" and "bigots" which is standard operating procedure at EvC, and on the Left in general, is propaganda of the lowest sort, sticking an opprobrious label on a person to discredit the argument. You exposed your hypocrisy to me, explicitly, in this thread. See Message 309 onward. The fact that you wouldn't oppose making a cake for my anti-christian Catholic wedding, but you would for a gay couple, shows that its the fact that they are gay that you have a problem with. Basing your position on just their gayness is, in fact, bigotry. Homophobic bigotry to be exact.

A nation brings itself under God's judgment when it enacts laws that oppose God's laws or otherwise supports or endorses an evil practice. It also happens to cultures and other groups of people. Like how God brought the Protestants under his judgement by having so many of them killed by the Catholics. That's what you get for attacking his True Church. Isn't His power awesome!? Praise the Lord!

Oh boo-hoo. Waah, I can't open a public bakery and discriminate against people. Waah, I'm being so punished.
Jon Jones and David Koresh, now there were some people who were punished for standing up for their Biblical beliefs. And you're wining because people won't let you discriminate. Tsk tsk.

You still can't hold a stick to Jon Jones or David Koresh.
I'm afraid we've crossed over some kind of line into something worse than paganism, sheer barbarism. Even a barbarian would just bake them the damned cake. What you want is unacceptable. Just stay out of the way. Or die already.

God hates figs.

THEY are objecting to Christians obeying our conscience. But they're not: you can not bake all the cakes you want, you just can't offer your services to the public if you want to discriminate against a protected class of people. How can you not understand this?

How can YOU not understand that Christians obey God and God tells us that homosexuality is sin and that marriage is for a man and a woman? No, I get it. And that's fine. You just can't offer your services to the public if you are unable to offer them to everyone. That's what you're failing to understand. If you are unable to bake cakes for gay people, then you cannot legally offer your services to the public. Plain and simple. No punishment involved.
This is no longer America when someone can say such a thing on a public forum. So the first amendment only applies to speech that you like. Got it. Horribly wrong, but I understand what you are saying.

You've sunk to a depth o f unimaginable evil. Really? You don't get to cry foul to me anymore.
It IS punishment to prohibit Christians from running a business. A Christian, like anybody else, can run any business, uninhibited. They just have to, like every other single businees, provide their services to everyone and not discriminate against a protected class of people. That is very simple and non-discriminatory and in no way a punishment towards Christians or anybody. Its the same across the board. For all.
The ONLY service that is refused is anything that validates gay marriage, NOT general services to homosexuals as such. What you are referring to as "refusing to validate" gay marriage, is unconstitutional and illegal. If a business must do that, then they cannot offer their services to the public. It doesn't matter what religion it is for or what the act is, denying service to a protected class is unconstitutional and illegal.
Blech, the mentality here is disgusting. That's your fault.

Some laws are evil and must be disobeyed. Now that is crossing over to barbarism. And as Larni points out: You're directly disobeying the Bible.
To require people to obey them against their conscience is EVIL. You could just not offer your services to the public. Perhaps open up a private bakery that only serves who you allow. Or you could lie about why you're "can't" make the cake - just don't tell people to their face that you are refusing services to them because of a protected class they belong to. Nobody is making anybody do anything. All they are doing is disallowing you to discriminate. Is it really against your conscience to not discriminate? Is that what Jesus taught? But what you said is stupid in another way: Anybody could claim any law is against their conscience and then call it evil.
