Re: More Christian Pseudohistory Self Absolvements
If you were honest you'd find it yourself.
You really are a piece of work. I'm dishonest because I won't do your job for you.
You claimed "Find the ones where they speak of the necessity of Christian morality for a good society. They're out there too." It's your job to produce evidence of such (including the source ) when challenged.
Will you produce those quotes, or are you admitting you are a dishonest liar? It's one or the other.
You have not tried to provide any evidence for pastors being arrested or gays baiting shopowners. You've been asked for evidence. But I suppose we're dishonest as usual because we aren't doing your job of digging up such evidence.
My bet is that no such evidence exists, especially the pastors being arrested. Can you imagine how batshit crazy the right wing media would go if such a thing actually happened?
Re: They extolled Christian morality -- some quotes
What Barton is wrong about is his insistence that the founders were Christians which they weren't, and he quoted John Adams so obviously out of context in one case that he isn't someone to trust. But these quotes aren't false.
It not obvious what you mean by "these", the quotes you posted or some Barton quotes, but either way they are all false or so obviously out of context that they cannot reflect the beliefs of the author.
