Faith, do you know what happened when the couple in Oregon refused to serve the public? You know, they didn't want to bake a cake for a gay wedding.

So, according to you, if people vote against recognizing same-sex marriage then the people have spoken & laws are adjusted accordingly.

Then a few years later, the people vote again & this time they approve same-sex marriages. The laws are adjusted accordingly, and then a few years after that the people vote again.

Do you see why civil rights issues like this can't be left to popular vote?

And then a few years later they vote to lift the ban. And then it comes up again & the whole thing is never settled.

How do you avoid that, Faith? If we leave it to popular vote, when does it end?
