Re: A science site

The intention of this site is to discuss the controversy over evolutionary "science" and creation "science". Most of us don't give a darn about someones faith or world view untill they attempt to force it into the educational system by whatever means they can find. The only reason there exists such a thing as creation "science" is to circumvent the constitution of the US. It is, at it's outset a sham.
In other words there is little science discussed here because there is NO science in creation "science".
I do think there are two standards at work in some ways. I agree with your statements. However, I think that there is a great deal more tolerence for those who are on the other side of the issue.
Science is the study of what is and not why it is. Many on this forum who criticize the proponents of ID for trying to make it scientific are the first ones who claim that science disproves creation. The scientific method has nothing to say about whether creation is a fact or not. They can't have it both ways and yet it seems to be accepted on this forum.

Everybody is entitled to my opinion.

Re: facts or not
Actually Ned I like the way the admin function is handled on this forum but it is my perception that those that assert that science disproves creation seem to get an easier ride. I'm prepared however to agree that it may just be that my perception is strictly a result of my own personal bias on the issue.
Thanks to all the admins for keeping this forum going and on the rails.
