The thing is he doesn't know that.
You could argue that he should and I would tend to agree but one thing that the months I have spent on this forum has shown me is that science education is not making much impact on people. I don't know why. I don't know if it's a failure of our educational system or not.
I mean we can take bright kids and if they choose to study science in college they can get a very good education. But short of that most people barely understand science. The fantasy worlds of theology that the churches offer seems to be much more appealing than learning about the universe we live in.
Rationality is not fundamental to humanity. It's a very slowly emergent function. Hence the ease with which con artists like Ron Wyatt exploit people even when the churches themselves are saying his work is worthless, people still prefer threatre to knowledge.
It can get frustrating.
