Re: A time to get serious
Brenda. The theory of evolution is a scientific theory, not an hypothesis. For scientists, that means that it has a lot of evidence to back it up.
There is no other scientific theory that explains the species we see around us. Remember, for scientists, theories require evidence.
If you think that you have a serious competing theory, then you must have a lot of evidence to back it up. Feel free to present that evidence.

Bugger religious work!

In fact, what we are doing is adding to the knowledge that we had before rather than refuting what we had before. Isn't that important?
Don't you think that religious beliefs, rather than adding knowledge to the proceedings, just end up impeding the search for knowledge by making things up, and adding delusions?

Re: Higher means try to comprehend and prove if you can
You are replying to your own post, Brenda, a habit to be wary of, as you'll know from your studies of psychology!
