Re: Israel is not a superior country
No people are any better than any other people.
Not true. For example, take a look at me. I'm better than you.
I mean, you are a charlatan...

Re: Israel is not a superior country
Yes, you are an evolutionist, and believe in and act upon the basic premise of evolution. I cant argue with you on this.
That's obvious.
You do deem yourself better than others and demean others when they dont follow your religion of evolution and branching and racism.
Nope, just you... because you're a charlatan, and charlatans are bad people.
The worldly nation of ISRAEL is not special and blessed and not superior to all other nations. All nations are the same to the Lord, as the Lord sees individual hearts and not clumps of people, or tribes or nationalities or religions or branches of supposed evolutionary advanced people who all think they are better than others.
You don't know what the Lord sees, nor do you speak for Him.
Racism is wrong and the Lord is not a racist, He sees individuasl hearts.
You don't know what He sees, you're just making up bullshit and preaching.
You suck, charlatan.

Re: Israel is not a superior country
Cats eye, your name calling again proves you can not defend your position or theory of evolution OR it is proving evolutionists have no morality
Oh, I'm capable. You're just too dishonest to be worth the time.
Calling you an evolutionist, as I have is what you call yourself, so I am not name calling, but giving you your agreed upon label for your belief system or theory system.
I think the word 'evolutionist' is stupid and that people who use it like you do are stupid. Like, you don't call people gravitists...
There's a difference between accepting scientific theories and holding religious beliefs. I know; I do both.
So do call me a 'Christian' if you choose and have some class or some integrity. Not a churchie but a Christian.
I dont mind at all. I follow his doctrine of equality and love.
Evolution preaches racism, inequality, branching, and competition.
Nah man. You're committing the unforgivable sin. As a charlatan here, you are spreading falsehoods and lying in the name of God. That is Blaspheming the Holy Spirit - and you should stop it.
I'll call you a Christian, but only to tell you that you are a terrible Christian and you are making the rest of us look bad, so please shut up.

Re: Israel is not a superior country
I agree with your reply Title
I didn't actually write it.
Jesus taught equality and love, deal with it evolutionists from a standpoint of your theory that is dependant on mutations that supposedly make species or races superior or better. Evolution is a racist theory. Know the basics and then you can discern politics, propaganda, lies whether out of school or in school lies and deceptions.
Please stop telling lies and making Christians look like idiots. Just shut up.
Jesus’
Large copy-n-pasts like you just posted are against Rule #6 that you agreed to when you made an account here. Please stop. Like, everything.

Re: Israel is not a superior country
Isiah 53 is not about the worldly country of Israel.
The whole book of Isaiah is about nations. It doesn't make sense for the 53rd chapter to randomly be about something completely different.
To say it is not about Israel is wrong.

Re: Israel is not a superior country
Cats eye, you are not a Christian, and probably not a Jew, so you surely are not an expert on Isiah 53.
I'm a Christian. And I can read. The Book of Isaiah (learn how to spell it) talks about Israel. To say otherwise is retarded.
Isaiah is a prophetic book, it deals with lives, past fulfilled prophecies and future prophecies.... as a non believer and no experiencer, Cats Eye, you have no expertise , except in denial denial, denial..
You can't lie to me about me, I know more about me than you do.
Please stop being a charlatan.

It makes no difference in any of my responses though.
Duh! That's because you're a charlatan!
Nothing makes any difference to your responses. You just keep repeating the same old refuted nonsense as if you're actually saying something.
We'll all be here rolling our eyes and laughing at you while you make a fool of yourself.

Re: Israel is never mentioned in Isaiah 53
Calling me a charlatan, over and over again is hardly honorable nor does it expand this topic...
Yeah, and spamming us with cut-n-pastes from your website is against the forum rules that you agreed to when you made an account here.
Isaiah 53 never mentions Israel in one place... never eludes to a country or the person of Jacob or Israel... never ever
The Book of Isaiah mentions Israel in the third verse:
quote:
1 The vision concerning Judah and Jerusalem that Isaiah son of Amoz saw during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
2 Hear me, you heavens! Listen, earth! For the LORD has spoken: I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me.
3 The ox knows its master, the donkey its owner’s manger, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.
4 Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the LORD; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.
To claim that this book is not about nations is retarded. It doesn't matter if the word "israel" is used in the 53rd chapter or not.
How in the world can the Jews or Jewish backers in churchianity, ever suggest that Isaiah 53 is about them or their worldly country.
Please explain ...
Well, I mean, the book is literally about nations... what else is there to say? Here, here's another source:
quote:
1. Introduction to The Study of the Book of Isaiah
The Message of Isaiah
The Book of Isaiah is one of the most important books of the Old Testament. While little is known of the personal life of the prophet, he is considered to be one of the greatest of them all.
The book is a collection of oracles, prophecies, and reports; but the common theme is the message of salvation. There was, according to these writings, no hope in anything that was made by people. The northern kingdom of Israel had been carried into captivity (722 B.C.), and the kingdom of Judah was in the middle of idolatry and evil. The kingdom of Assyria had dominated the Fertile Crescent and posed a major threat to both kingdoms; and the kingdom of Babylon was gaining power and would replace Assyria as the dominant threat. In view of the fast-changing international scene, the people of Israel would be concerned about their lot in lifewhat would become of the promises of God? How could the chosen people survive, let alone be a theocracy again? And must the remnant of the righteous also suffer with the nation that for all purposes was pagan?
To these and many other questions the book addresses itself.
And from the wiki page:
quote:
Isaiah 1—33 promises judgment and restoration for Judah, Jerusalem and the nations, and chapters 34—66 presume that judgment has been pronounced and restoration follows soon. It can thus be read as an extended meditation on the destiny of Jerusalem into and after the Exile.
and:
quote:
The older understanding of this book as three fairly discrete sections attributable to identifiable authors leads to a more atomised picture of its contents, as in this example:
Proto-Isaiah/First Isaiah (chapters 1—39):
1—12: Oracles against Judah mostly from Isaiah's early years;
13—23: Oracles against foreign nations from his middle years;
24—27: The "Isaiah Apocalypse", added at a much later date;
28—33: Oracles from Isaiah's later ministry
34—35: A vision of Zion, perhaps a later addition;
36—39: Stories of Isaiah's life, some from the Book of Kings
Deutero-Isaiah/Second Isaiah (chapters 40—54), with two major divisions, 40—48 and 49—54, the first emphasising Israel, the second Zion and Jerusalem:
An introduction and conclusion stressing the power of God's word over everything;
A second introduction and conclusion within these in which a herald announces salvation to Jerusalem;
Fragments of hymns dividing various sections;
The role of foreign nations, the fall of Babylon, and the rise of Cyrus as God's chosen one;
Four "Servant Songs" personalising the message of the prophet;
Several longer poems on topics such as God's power and invitations to Israel to trust in him;
Trito-Isaiah/Third Isaiah (chapters 55—66):
A collection of oracles by unknown prophets in the years immediately after the return from Babylon.
Look, it is about nations.

Re: Israel is never mentioned in Isaiah 53
God is not a racist nor nationalistic..
For as He said directly and distinctly.. All nations are as nothing to me.... LOOK IT UP
And as He said..ALL nations shall accept the Mark of the Beast, and become one in the End...all as in ALL.
But go ahead and promote the evolutionary idea and atheistic idea that God in Isaiah and elsewhere in the Bible is a racist and favours one nation over another... its untrue, but its what the churchies teach, and what the religions teach and what politicians teach..to start their wars and continue the killing
So the Bible's wrong, then?

Re: Israel is never mentioned in Isaiah 53
Cats eye, dont you know, the cat is out of the bag, you have called yourself a Christian, and then post such unChristian comments..
So the Bible's wrong, then?
It's a ramification of your claim. You're the one making claims that makes the Bible wrong.
But Jesus never (couldn't) said that you have to take the Bible as if it is literally unable to be wrong, so that doesn't really have to be a part of Christianity anyways. There are certainly Christians who don't worship the Bible like yours does.
So since you're doing me, I suppose I could do you: You, being the "Christian" charlatan that you are, are a committer of the one unforgivable sin. That is, Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. When you're here telling lies in the name of God, you're really fucking up royally. You should stop it.

Re: NoNukes are you saying God is a racist ?
Dont get offended NoNukes, but you seem to be saying over and over again, that the Bible says God has a chosen people according to bloodlines...... and that they are special.
Do you not know that such a statement means they are superior rather than equal to all other people. Dont you relaise that such a doctrine would promote hatred between them and others.
So do be clear and state clearly whether or not you believe in your Bible interpretation that the Lord favors the worldly nation of Israel, and that they are special and chosen.
And then explain if you think so why this is not racism and devisive.
Allow me to differ by saying, ..... the Bible and Jesus and scriptures and all the prophets say no nation or bloodlines is pure and righteous..... all are unrighteous and all are EQUAL
So then, according to you, the Bible contradicts itself.
It says that Israelites are God's chosen people, and you also interpret it to say that everyone is equal and no group is chosen.
So which part of the Bible is wrong? The part about Israel being chosen, or your interpretation that none are chosen?

Re: NoNukes are you saying God is a racist ?
Cats Eye, NO you are intentionally trying to misrepresent me... intentionally to try and accuse the Lord as inconsistent.
Neither of those statements are true, though.
I'm just dealing with the ramifications of your claims, and I'm accusing you of having an inconsistent interpretation.
On top of that, you don't speak for the Lord.
The Lord is always consistent and always has the same values, Choice and Equality,
Then explain The Flood. According to the Bible, He Flooded the whole planet and killed everything because He regretted His creation. So something about Him changed, and therefore you're wrong to say that he's always consistent.
Or what about Dinosaurs!? He made this whole big planet and filled it with giant dinosaurs, and then was all: "nah man, I'mma try humans instead"
So then, according to you, the Bible contradicts itself.
It says that Israelites are God's chosen people, and you also interpret it to say that everyone is equal and no group is chosen.
So which part of the Bible is wrong? The part about Israel being chosen, or your interpretation that none are chosen?
No, the Lorfd had to start with some one... Adam and a lineage to show that lineage is not the determining factor. Grouping together never helped anyone aget salvation and blessings. It has always been according to their choices.
Moses kept saying, If anyone, or as Joshua said.
Choose you this day, whom you will follow either the Lord or *****
Its always been choice, and
Yeah, yeah, yeah... you're just preaching. Answer the question, which is it:
Are the jews God's chosen people like the Bible says, or are there no chosen people like you say? Which one is wrong: you or the Bible?
'Cause you can't really "choose" to be a jew...
No, the Lorfd (really?) had to start with some one... Adam and a lineage to show that lineage is not the determining factor.
The character Adam in the book of Genesis wasn't a real person that actually existed in a garden on Earth...
the mixed multitude out of Egypt had to continually choose if they were going to follow, and so many died in the wilderness or got swallowed up by the Earth when they choose poorly, when they rebelled against Moses, when they accused Moses, when they had no FAITH to move forward.
I have no idea what you are talking about. This is where you are making the Bible not be some literal story that contains some fairly face-value truth, but rather some secret message that you have the decoder for. That's you acting like a charlatan.
I'll say "acting like" so as to not make an actual accusation against you, but the way you are acting is the way a charlatan would act.
Dont you know this Cats Eye,
haven;t you ever trusted the Lord and chosen the Lord personally ?
Well that's none of your fucking business, now is it guy? Nor is it pertinent to the argument, and is completely irrelevant, no?
But I'll have you know that I have met God.
No the Lord has always been about personal choice,
Why do some children get cancer, if everything is the Lord's work? Where the personal choice in that?

So the Book of Isaiah does speak about Israel and according to the Bible the jews are God's chosen people. It turns out that you just don't know what you are talking about and are just making up stupid bullshit.
