Re: Israel is never mentioned in Isaiah 53
Christians, the honest Christians, understand that the Bible is often wrong, contradictory and containing fiction.

Re: Israel is never mentioned in Isaiah 53
I assume all Christians are true Christians but I also understand that you, like many Christians, are simply a member of the Christian Cult of Ignorance and that you constantly misrepresent, denigrate and profane both the Bible and Christianity.
I do not question your being a Christian but do try to warn folk that you are simply an ignorant dishonest charlatan lying about what others say, what the Bible says and what reality says, what Christianity is and Jesus' message.
You have my pity.

Re: Jacob was a 'trickster'
And in the Bible it is actually the God character that is described as a trickster during the wrestling match, not Jacob.
Genesis 32 writes:
24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
