Definitely agree with that, all the new stuff has no substance. I grew up listening to stuff like KRS-one (who I think is just amazing), Common, Gangstarr etc. IMO Hip hop is not the most intelectual of music (with exception to people like KRS one), that's why I switched to metal when I was in grade 12. Been a Tool fan ever since and that will never change. The new stuff is regurjitated garbage.
