No Clinton was not the only one
First off, President Bush didn't wait for the election to be over to attack, he was waiting for the peaceful soloution to fail. I recently heard someone who had been in the Iraqi city tell us about it. He and his copanions were robbed of everything on the highway, including all the gas the man could suck out of the tank. The company of people now had just 3 trucks with almost no gas in each to get to the closest city, which happened to be Fallahugah. In the city, they coasted to a stop in the closest gas station and told their story and asked for some free gas. The residents, and we are talking about 500 people who were involved in this now, not only gave them free gas, but gave them food and a place to sleep for the night as well because they were so mad that someone would do this. The missionarys of JESUS ended up getting to see the ruler of the city and talking with him about JESUS. So you see, the city is not so bad, we are just after the people hiding in it.
And you are right clinton was not the only one to destroy our military, all you democrats before him that were president did it too along with kerry if he had been elected. We wouldn't be over streched now though, if it wasn't for clinton and his budget cuts.

Re: Concession speech from 3rd party candidate (humor)
It was my newspapers, The Colorado Springs Gazette, headline a couple weeks ago. I belive the article was written by the AP though, I'll try to find the date.

Re: Might as well post it here.
The debt is going up only because we are not getting as much money in. Execpt for the war in Iraq, Bush is actually spending less than Clinton ever did, ther's just not enough money coming in to even fund this lower budget. We could get more taxes if we stopped outsourcing, somthing that almost all of the factories that kerry owns are.

Re: Might as well post it here.
Yes he added a new orginazation, homeland security, and that was only because you liberals insisted. Secondly, the economy was doing just fine under him until 9/11, it was his tax cuts that slowed and finally stoped the recession. Plus, did you notice that the stock market went up the day after Bush was elected, with almost every one agreeing that him geting re elected boosted it?

Re: Bush...A Christian Fraud
In what world do you live in? Bush is not the best, but we did find WMD in iraq, wheather it was deployable or not, (and chemicle is as much of a fear weapon as it is real) Bush does however take a stand on abortion, and other issues.

Re: Might as well post it here.
Sure, in an ideal world defence would not be needed,(and from all the budget cuts clinton made, aparently he thought we lived in an ideal world) but we don't live in an ideal world, and probaly never will, which unfortunatly means we do need patriot PAC-3 and nukes to protect, and defend us.

Half true
Yes, much of our military is stuff to be used in the cold war, and we could probaly use some cuts on things like Abrams, JSF, the minuteman missle, and a few other things. We are slowly, very slowly, getting away from this (see styker armored vecicle) but you have to remember now, we needed most, not all, but most of this stuff untill operation Iraqi freedom and Afganistan. For example, in the first Iraq war, before we whooped their but, Iraq did have MIG-25s (just a few) Floggers, Mirrage F1 (french made, what a suprise!) and other fighters, (They did manage one air-air kill against us, but that was against a squid) and tanks, though old soviet, were still tanks. We needed Patriot PAC-2 to protect us from scuds, and other stuff. Now however, the situation has changed, and your right, we need to change faster to stay with it.

Re: Military Spending
Yes, it is too much, but like my previous post, why is costing so much? Though we need more military than we have, we shouldn't be paying as much as we are for it. Usefull strategic bases close down while useless bases in a congressmans pet district stay open and continue to waste money. Mainly, we have to pay people to work putting parts on airplanes more than they do in russia. There is also the corrupt businesses (like the boeing scandle) that prevent us from getting things (like tankers) that we really need, and then we have to waste a bunch of money on an investigation.
