Welcome Cobra Snake.The "Great Debate" area isn't the place, but personally, I do think this site does need a place where the individuals on the creation side could post a brief position statement. Maybe put it in your profile signature.I have much trouble keeping track whether:
Young earth or old earth?
7 day literalist or something else?
Inteligent design avocate or not?
Great flood or no great flood?I think the evolution side is pretty unified, but I've put my little statement in my signature profile.Moose------------------

I wouldn't recommend getting overly focused in on the carbon dating process. It is just a tiny part of the evidence in support of an old earth.Rummage around at:
