Mr. Byer, living fossils? I always thought of that as oxymoron. I believe that the process of evolution is based on random mutation and natural selection. If there is no selective pressure for change why would you think it impossible for a creature not to? Why would a mutation that had no adaptive advantage be passed on? How are creatures that were contemporary with dinosaurs with little or no change a problem for ToE? It seems to me that the theory of evolution is able to explain "living fossils" just fine. IMO. Unless you do not fully understand the theory perhaps this would explain the confusion.
