This question belongs in the Big Bang and Cosmology forum, not evolution. This forum is for biological discussions not cosmological.

Ok, I'm stepping into Admin mode here for a second to try to get some order to this thread (and I am as guilty as anyone for contributing to the disorder).
teen15m6, no one is going to be able to satisfy you with any answers if the questions keep rolling in. You ask several different questions and when ppl answer one you think they are avoiding the others?
I'm pulling moderator power and strongly suggesting that you pick ONE question at a time, give us the information that you have been given and ask for information from others. When that question has been answered to your satisfaction, or if it is found that no answer
will satisfy you, then go on to a different question. A further suggestion is that the question be in a new thread with a descriptive title and placed in the appropriate forum. If you need help with that, let me know and I can place correct the title and placement of the thread.
Since you seem to be quite young, I will drop out of the give and take as participant Asgara, and watch the interchange closely as AdminAsgara. No insults will be allowed, no name calling will be allowed, and no bare assertions will be allowed. (this goes for both sides) I WILL NOT stop ppl from suggesting that others might need to further their education on various matters, as long as it is done in a constructive manner.
If you need help with any of these suggestions just ask for it.

teen,
Please go to this page and read the descriptions of the various forum. Find one that suits your question and click into it. At the top right side of that page is a "post new topic" button. When you start your new topic, put a descriptive title into the subject box.
Bad example = Answer this ....
Good example = Question Concerning the History of Nebraska Man
When you ask your question, like I said before, present the information you have and preferably where you heard it. Ask others for their input.
Thank you for listening to my suggestion...I hate when I have to make it a mandate.

Re: Your purpose?
No teen, no one who admits that they might be wrong looks like an absolute fool. You just come off as young and misinformed.
One thing you have to understand about debates here is that no new creationist arguments have been brought out in ages. The same distortions and lies that Hovind started his site with are still there, even though he has been informed of his errors. Other creationist sites have basically disowned him. When the science side of this site sees the same arguments over and over again they get frustrated. Especially when someone comes off as extremely dogmatic in their assertions. This frustration can come off as rude and you can't have a thin skin if you want to debate this issue.
I like to think that most of the time the science side realizes that part of the job of this site is to educate people and ignorance doesn't mean stupidity. Most, when up against a creationist who asks questions and is polite, will respond with information in a respectful way. When someone comes on and is rude and refuses to listen to anyone, shows that they are close-minded, and seems to just want to pick arguments for arguments sake, I feel they deserve what they get.
One other thing I want to bring up, no one here is trying to make you lose your faith. Most atheists and agnostics are perfectly happy letting you live the life you want and just want the same respect. You will come across militant types from both sides and my advise is to just ignore them. Listening to the other side, and truly understanding what they are saying does not mean you have to agree with them, but it is rather silly to disagree with something you do not know anything about.

Lam,
When replying to a specific post, please use the "little red arrow reply button" (lrarb) at the bottom of that particular post instead of the bigger white reply button at the bottom or top of the whole page. The lrarb helps others keep an audit trail of posts to and from one another. Also, some of our members have email notification set up for when when someone replies to one of their posts. If the lrarb is not used then this notification does not get sent out.
The "replies to..." and "replies from..." notes at the bottom of a post help others to follow particular arguments and discussions.
