Since when did the Bible beget TWO creation stories?
Genesis 1:1 through 2:3 is one, and Genesis 2:4 through 2:25 is the other. They tell different stories that most people find incompatible (and most people find that those who claim they are compatible are going through all sorts of unjustified gyrations to resolve the inconsitencies). E.g. the order of creation is different in the two stories, and the word used for God differs between the two. There's an interesting discussion at
In the Beginning: Two Stories of Creation.
