Immanuel means 'God with us'. Many people have given Jesus a God status. For example, Thomas addressed Jesus, 'My Lord and my God...'Even today, many Christians worship Jesus as if He is God.If you take a look at your telephone directory, you will realize that there are many people named Immanuel.
