Yes, constitutional protections are being forced onto you. It's called being a US citizen. There is nothing hypocritical about it.

I am not offended by prayer, and I am an atheist. The only thing I am offended by is the use of government time, money, and resources for prayer and the pushing of one religious view over another. I am offended by teachers in public schools using public funded classrooms and classtime as a means to proselytize. I am offended by my tax dollars being spent advertising for religious views I don't agree with.I am not offended by teachers leading after school prayer meetings. I am not offended by churches leasing schools for church services.Do you understand the differences?

I am offended because freedom of religion is considered a basic human right. This right includes having a government that doesn't use your hard earned money to push a religion you don't belong to.Would you be offended if teachers in public schools required their students to worship idols, or participate in animal sacrifices? Worship Satan?
