Perhaps sexual orientation as not as black and white as you think. It wasn't until the hippy sixties decade that apostacy from Biblical principles began to prevail in America. That was the decade in which the hippie phenomena swept the nation. That was the decade of mini-skirts, the lowering of female necklines, sloppy atire, etc emerged. That was the decade after which one could no longer exchange the paper money notes into something of value at the bank, i.e. silver.
Miniskirts caused homosexuality? Obviously there is no common ground between the two of us. I rather like a nice pair of legs in a woman, sorry you don't feel the same way. And what does any of that have to do with the silver/gold standard dispute between William Jennings Bryant and President McKinley?
That was the decade of deviancy from the norm. That was the decade of the beginning of the decline of the America from a God blessed America to the God cursed nation that it has become, thanks to all forms of sexual deviancy etc.
Well it appears you are on a roll, please feel free to tell me what sexual positions the wife and I have that you approve of and which ones you evidently don't. Also, I have a major problem with your assertion that homosexuality did not exist in the USA until those awful hippies forced it upon your consciousness.
In short, that was the decade of the begining of the filling of the cup of God's wrath as per the OT prophets, corroborated by Jesus, his apostles and John, the revelator in the NT.
You of course realize that presuming to speak for God -- as opposed to allowing God or Jesus to speak for themselves -- is not only a violation of that not Catholic religious stance you seem to so support, but also a direct violation of the first commandment.
But then again, you are "good ol' Buzsaw," Keep up the good work of telling us the world ends tomorrow because at this point, at least for me, it is more a source of amusement than irritation.
