Is the media hurting the war?

This is begging the question. The real question is what exactly this "war" is all about.I suppose if one supports the notion that we are over there to achieve some lofty goal of bringing democracy (read: a "free" market economy where American companies can be "free" to plunder national resources and labor forces) and that America can do no wrong when its "interests" are at stake, then I suppose that one would view any kind of honest reporting to be treasonous.
