uh, yeah. the bible does condemn homosexuality. as someone already posted:
Leviticus 18:22 defines the issue: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind, it is abomination."
sounds pretty rigid to me. but it's not like anyone cares about the REST of leviticus, which was, btw, only addressed to the levites. hence the name.

Lam, what do you think Romans 1:26,27 means?
about as much as me saying "i think being gay is wrong"
paul is not god. having him say "god hates you because you have gay people" is exactly the same as jerry fallwell's statement that 9/11 was god punishing people for being gay.

Could this meaning anything other than lesbianism? For example, if one considers the "natural use" of women to bear and raise children, perhaps not doing so (by choice or biology) would be considered "against nature"?
personally, i think paul means that they were holding positions in society contrary to paul's ideology. he indicates in other letter that he thinks women should shut up, stay at home, and do dishes.
the whole passage does not talk about homosexuality, it seems to be listing grievances: devil worship, women out of their place, and men screwing each other.

God was quite explicit in Leviticus' "man shall not lie with man as with woman"; I don't see why, if He was speaking through Paul, He would be so ambiguous in Romans.
i don't think god had anything to do with paul's writings. they are advisory letters to churches under his direction. his opinions of how things should be done, and MUCH of it is tainted by very obvious bias. he's against women, effeminate men (like jesus?), homosexuality, and probably jews.
