Loving nothing
Love God with all YOUR heart, mind and soul.

It is rather difficult to love an entity in whom one does not believe.
​
I suppose one could argue that one can love a moral principle that is associated with God, if that's what you mean.
​
I don't think an atheist "tries" to love God.
