Darwinism, education, materialism's fatal flaw

1) What should the goals of a college education be?To educate yourself in a structured environment.2) Has naturalism and materialism unduly influenced those goals over the last 100 years?Only if you are not trying to educate yourself by these principles. All scientists would probably say no because their practice is based on naturalism. I don't see at all how your post #6 is a response to what I said. Plain and simple, you are begging the question.It is like me saying, "How many beers did it take to get you drunk last night?". Even if you weren't drunk last night. It makes an assumption that is not necessarily true.

I was trying to be a jazz trumpeter before I realized that it would undermine my first goal in life which was raising a family. I went into CS instead which was my second love. I still like to dream about gigging and being a part of that scene though.I guess my point about the topic is that maybe the question should be phrased such that it is a little less presumptuous.Is there a fatal flaw in Darwinian evolutionary, materialistic and naturalistic logic and if so what is it?Which would have the net effect of not setting off your opposition's BS sirens.
