So yet again you offer no support or evidence or reasoning or anything more than I ask yet again: "how can the Supreme Court make an unconstitutional decision?"What unconstitutional decisions has the SCOTUS made?

Fortunately for the US, thank God, regardless of what you believe it is not unconstitutional if the SCOTUS says it is not unconstitutional. Remember, the Constitution is only one of the three sources for Supreme Laws of the land.

If the SCOTUS says something is Constitutional then by definition it is Constitutional.But that of course is totally irrelevant in this case since the bill originated in the House.

Actually, all that episode showed is that the current crop of Republican voters are even more ignorant than the current crop of Republican politicians and I did not think that was possible.

What have I left out that I have not gone over many times here at EvC; the fact that today's so called conservatives are just incipient fascists wannabees who are totally clueless about Conservatism, reality, morality, empathy, US history, reason, logic, the Constitution or empathy?This thread is a great piece of evidence.Examples: not knowing and understanding that if the SCOTUS says something is constitutional it is constitutional.Not knowing and understanding that that is not new news but long settled reality.Thinking that the Scotus passed a law.Not knowing and understanding that the bill under discussion did originate in the House.Today's conservatives seem to suffer from all of the worst traits of the Christian Cult of Ignorance and explain why they should be seen as the greatest threat the US faces and maybe the greatest threat to the rest of the world.

If you are part of what calls themselves conservatives today then yes, of course. Perhaps you should learn something about Fascism and no where did I mention or suggest any connection to killing.Fascism, like Christianity, is not monotheistic.

Fascism is an authoritarian right wing political system (see The Authoritarians). It is ultranationalistic; usually supporting a mixed economy but often promoting autarky; supporting a strong military that should be used to project the power of the nation even to the extent of influencing other nations; believe that resources should be used and that the nation has a right to needed resources even when they are held by some other nation; fear immigration and changes in demographics; have a strong religious association; believe that the role of the government is to remove obstacles to industry; are antiliberalism and anti-communist; overly concerned with the Myth of Decline and promoting a masculine role and authority.

I'm not sure unethical is applicable but it definitely is a shell game and has been going on as long as I have been following Congress so well over a half century. Unfortunately it is not a tactic most folk are aware of; yet another example of the failure of our educational system. It's stuff like this, the boring details of how the US governs itself that we really need to be teaching the kids.
