I guess Maxwell's demon refers to that little troll that sits inside the nucleus of the atom.
Just think of all that time you wasted on that PhD in chemistry when you could have just blamed all molecular interactions on invisible boogeymen.
And I used to think Christianity generally replaced Animism over time when such cultures collided.
Live and learn.
