On The Resolution
I would like to see a section of such a forum where threads are dedicated to specific resolutions.
A member would offer a resolution: "Resolved that Percy is too good at this stuff and deserves the Congressional Medal of Really Busy People."
After the mods approve format and efficacy the resolution is open for debate. Limit, as we do here, threads to some 300-500 messages then, when the mods close the debate, the resolution is open to vote. All can vote, not just the thread participants. Voting would remain open for some days (3-5-7?)to allow us laggards to do a final scan of the debate and cast a vote. A subsection of this "Resolutions" forum would then list the resolution and the final vote count.
