I saw it more as a "don't worry, I'm just as much of a religious bigot as you are" and "religious institutions should control an individual" speech.As opposed to Kennedy saying "religious bigotry should not be a part of deciding who is president" and "religious institutions should NOT control an individual" speech.Of course it could just be my bias ... Enjoy.
