Second Ronald regon is one of the best presidents we ever had as he helped by collasping the soviet union and improved our defences.
Second what PROOF do you have of any of these alleged doings of Ronald regan. I admit that some of the CIA insiting rebals and handing over weapons MIGHT, be true, heck we did that in afganistan by giving them stingers to fight the russians. So again, do you have any proof?

The taliban did not come to as a big power until after the war when afgahnistan was in chaos. Regan could not have predicted their rise to power.

Regan did sell arms to the shah including F-14 tomcats and AIM-53 missles. Yes Iran did suport terrorists as they still do, however, what about all the F-15c eagle fighters or M1A1 Abrams tanks that we sold to saudi arabia? They to support terrorist groups. It is choosing the lesser of two evils. Iran has not outright launched a major assult on us or our allies. Iraq did. It is choosing the better of two evils.
