Hello Tangle. You said:
Science adjusts it's views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can
be preserved.
This is simply an evolution vs. creation issue. The
observable science actually supports creation.
Evolution does nothing for science, and science
does nothing for evolution.
It is observable science (since recorded history) that
an animal will have offsprings of the same kind. The
same goes for humans. Human mothers will always
have human babies.
Professors cannot give an observable example where
one animal evolved (macro) into an entirely different
kind of animal.
You are free to believe in your fairy tale, if you wish, but
that is called blind faith, not science.

So how come it was creationists that confirmed evolution as fact?
Evolution does nothing for science, and science
does nothing for evolution.
Have you got that written on your bumper?

Yes, that's what science tells us.
Professors cannot give an observable example where
one animal evolved (macro) into an entirely different
kind of animal.
Do you think they should be able to? If so why?

I gave up my belief in fairy tales and blind faith when I was still a child. And the reason had nothing to do with evolution - which I'd never heard of. The reason was because it became clear that faith is indoctrinated bullshit.

Re: Let It Go, Phat! Do Something Useful For Yourself
Hello Tangle. You asked:
Explain why a god (God) that loves you will also
torture you.
There is no burning in hell (Gehenna) for eternity.
The Bible does teach eternal punishment, but not
eternal punishing. There is a huge different.
Our only two options are diametrically opposed to
each other. One is eternal life; the other is death.
Those now dead know absolutely nothing. They
possess no knowledge, wisdom, nor awareness.
Those who suffer the second death will be aware
of nothing for eternity.

Observable science supports creation. Animals and

They have. If you don’t know about it that’s really your problem.
Evolution explains why taxonomy produces a nested tree, the observed patterns of biogeography as well as the order of the fossil record - and the many transitional fossils found. (You may prefer “morphological intermediates” for the last, but I’ve used the more common term) as well as much other evidence.

Which is also the case if gradual evolution is true. Hardly a support for creationism.

There is no fossil record. There is just piles of
bones that were deposited in great heaps by a
global flood.
Also, "gradual evolution" is not observable.
"Kind" of animal reproducing the same "kind"
is observable--again, again, and again.
This is exactly what I expect. After all, God
stated matter-of-fact that kind would produce
the same kind. He was right.

There never was a great flood. Doubtless, there were many small local floods, but never a great flood.
Also, "gradual evolution" is not observable.
We are observing it in real time, with COVID-19.

There certainly is.

If that were true it would still be a fossil record. However we know that it is not true. The order in the fossil record - identified in the early 19th Century, when Charles Darwin was still a child - has no viable explanation in the Flood.

Also, "gradual evolution" is not observable.
Mutation and natural selection have both been observed. Also, it is necessary only that the evidence be observable. Nobody has observed a complete orbit of Pluto around the Sun, but nobody doubts the orbit, or that Pluto had completed many such orbits.
(Pluto’s orbital period is close to 250 years, but it was first observed in 1909)

is observable--again, again, and again.
And we know that offspring can be different from their parents, and that that change can accumulate over time. If “kind reproducing the same kind” is compatible with that, then it is compatible with evolution.

This probably isn't the best thread for a discussion of evolution. There are some recently active evolution threads that are more suitable:

Paul, you can say it over and over again, but it doesn't
make it true. The fossils do not support evolution.
Fossils are piles of bones that were deposited in great
heaps by a global flood.
Let me tell you a little secret: fossils do not come
With tags on them, stating how old they are.
A worldwide flood would sort many of the fossils into
size and density before depositing them.
In any event, the bottom layer would contain fish fossils.
Above these would be amphibians, then reptiles
(Including dinosaurs). Above these would be birds
and mammals, including humans.
This last group would be on the highest ground;
Thereby, assuring that they would be last to die.
And, less likely to be covered by sediment, which
would leave minimal fossils.
Fossils are open to interpretation. Observable
Science (kind of animal reproducing the same
Kind of animal for all of recorded history) is not.
We have now observed that many dinosaur
fossils have significant amounts of C-14 in
them. Being generous to a fault, C-14 should
be undetectable after 100,000 years.
Instead of changing their beliefs to fit the facts,
evolutionists insist that iron is responsible for
the C-14 amounts, even after 75,000,000 years.
Evolution is faith-based, and a really weird one
at that.
