I really like Quetzal's picture of his/her better-looking namesake. On the other hand, MessenjaH has posted a few truly sickening snaps from Dr. Dino's gallery of decaying aquatic creatures, and I don't want to know what's in Wounded King's specimen jar. But my vote for most disturbing avatar goes to Rrhain. ------------------ En la tierra de ciegos, el tuerto es el Rey.

In contrast, I enjoy staring catatonically at DC85's blinking avatar, since it distracts me from his actual post. ------------------ En la tierra de ciegos, el tuerto es el Rey.

It's William James, whose work On the Varieties of Religious Experience would have been better if he had (all together now) left variation out of his definition. ------------------ En la tierra de ciegos, el tuerto es el Rey.

You serious?? Double or nothing it's a picture of a young Anton LaVey. I'm feelin' lucky, boys! ------------------ En la tierra de ciegos, el tuerto es el Rey.

Tee hee! I guess messenjaH didn't read post #2. Hey, what's with the avatarless look? Did the Hovind site run out of pictures of waterlogged dugong corpses? No more 'modified' dinosaur footprints from Glen Rose? Wounded King here has a picture of a pickled stegosaurus fetus that's only weeks old. The picture, I mean. ------------------ En la tierra de ciegos, el tuerto es el Rey.

It's that leer that says, "Take 'em off slow, baby, reeeeal slow. Yeah, just like that. Uh huh." ------------------ En la tierra de ciegos, el tuerto es el Rey.

Rrhain, I never realized you played Nellie on Little House on the Prairie. Now I'm all starstruck. Is it true a coke-crazed Michael Landon fired you for growing the goatee? ------------------ En la tierra de ciegos, el tuerto es el Rey.

Convergent Ava-lution
It should probably be first come first served on the avatars, right? I noticed greyline and zephyr share not only lower-case handles but also suspiciously similar eyes-only shots. I'm just anticipating that two or more of our younger members might share an interest in, say, Tera Patrick, and we'd be constantly confused as to which has the 'beach' Tera and which has the 'firehouse floozy' Tera. I'm already aware of a few lurkers disappointed that they can't post their William James pics without causing confusion. ------------------ En la tierra de ciegos, el tuerto es el Rey.

I want to register my appreciation for Theologian 63's tasteful avatar. Another one that loses a lot in miniature. {added by edit:} Rrhain, it looks like you're off the hook. ------------------ En la tierra de ciegos, el tuerto es el Rey. [This message has been edited by MrHambre, 08-17-2003]
