I spent almost a year in southern hemisphere and have tried to discover the Southern Cross. In Brasil they have their own cross, I guess, it's also painted on their flag, but I couldn't discern a real cross in those stars. So, I'm not sure if the Southern Cross exists, even while I've been as far as Tierra del Fuego.
Probably you've all seen this kind of evidence. Personally, I like the 'Nile Mosaic of Palestrina' and the Apatasaurus from an Mesopotamian cylinder seal as you can see
here. Why have this artists been so 'naturalistic' and not a little bit more creative? Where could the fire concept come from?
