"Macroevolution" is speciation. That is the only biological definition that I am aware of. It is, in fact, the only reasonably clear definition there is.
I think that the creo community started to harp on the difference between macro and micro decades ago and, at that time, that was speciation.
Now that speciation is demonstrated they are stuck and have had to waffle about just what macro is.
However, it is NOT, in my opinion, correct to say that mutations and NS answer the macroevolution question.
That is why "mechanisms of speciation" are such a big issue. It takes more than just mutations and NS to produce a speciation event. Even over an extended period of time, I think.
