I dont really have an opinion on its historical or internal consistancy ...
Really? If I may ask, how did you manage to read about the Global Flood, a miraculous Exodus, an unparalleled military conquest, a man-swallowing big fish, a virgin birth, possessed and suicidal pigs, a cursed fig tree, a magical fish picnic, a stroll on the lake, the resurrection of the dead, and zombies strolling the streets of Jerusalem, and come out with no opinion?
Try something for me: read the passion narrative in Matthew and John and tell me if you find them to be cogent and consistent.
