How does science disprove the Bible?

So when the Bible speaks about a serpent, it is not satan, but a 'metaphorical negative force' according to you.Yet when Genesis says the earth was created in six days that means all natural science, including physics, chemistry, geology, and biology is wrong because it contradicts your non-metaphorical understanding of the Bible.So you are the one, according to you, to tell us mere mortals when the Bible is meant to be taken literally and when it is meant to be taken metaphorically.Yeah I heard that one before, and so has everyone else here.Watch out for that first commandment, it could burn your ass if you're not careful.

Isn't that the point of this entire forum? If your god does anything at anytime, including last Thursday, to fool her/his creation into believing that all human attempts to make the world a more understandable and therefore better place to live in are ultimately futile, is that not a capricious and cruel god. Should anyone be forced at the end of the barrel of a gun to teach your inhuman and ungodly concept of God?Yeah, god tricks the intellectually curious into hell. Which god are you referring to and if this god is so anti-intellectual, so anti-curious, so anti-human, is that God or the adversary of God?

IIRC the specific discussion is 'How does science disprove the Bible?'Science clearly states that the earth rotates, if it does not rotate, if it gets stopped all of a sudden, then there are all kinds of consequences which are most unpleasant and also not verified by history. But of course such consequences could not be verified by history since there would be no humans to write history as sidelined so eloquently pointed out.So what's left other than the Bible is false, or maybe, just maybe, it's not a science textbook and is meant to impart a moral, as opposed to a, dare I say, absolute and unchallengeable science lesson?
