If Jesus returned, how would he prove his identity ?
Would we just have to take it as an act of faith that he is who he says he is ?

you certainly will know He is Jesus and that God exists.
So it would be an act of Faith.
When the Aztecs first encountered the Spannish, because of their superior technology, they regarded them as Gods.
Suppose for a moment that extraterrestrials exist and one arrived on Earth with technology beyond our comprehension. If he claimed to be Jesus, how could his claim be refuted ?
