Well, in what you quoted I do not see any indication that the "Ayatollah" said anything. Your quote has one conservative nut job media outlet claiming that another nut job media outlet made a claim. Second, is there any indication that even if it was a stated policy of Iran that they have the capability to do any such thing.

We invaded Iraq and Afghanistan even though neither had ever attacked the US in any way, currently have embargoed Iran, have a history of overthrowing legitimately elected governments in Iran, and have troops, bases and Navies surrounding Iran, and you don't think they should feel threatened by the US?

AbE: You do know that Judaism is a protected religion in Iran, that there are over 20 Synagogues in Tehran alone, that almost 1 in 10 Iranians is a Jew, that there are Hebrew schools and Kosher Butcher shops and that Jews serve in the Iranian army along side Muslims and ... You are right about the percentage, sorry I was off on that, but the rest was accurate. The fact is no one here suggested Iran should "Kill all the Jews" and in Iran, there are Jews.

And like non-Jewish Iranians they have been leaving NOT due to religious persecution but rather for economic reasons. Remember, the US and the West has been leveling economic sanctions on Iran for many decades.

My point is that the very site you cited says that the Jews did not leave due to political or religious persecution. Your own source refuted your claim.
