ok this is gonna sound silly to most of you who reply here probably. but i was talking to someone at one point who had told me that humans didn't actually evolve from cro-magnon man. he drew i simple little timeline showing cro-magnon man's time periods and drew another line under it that started towards the very end of cro-man's line. cro-magnun ---------------- human --------------> it was similar to that...the point is that he said that there was a time when we both were around...but that humans didn't evolve here, we just appeared at a certain time, and soon after cro-magnun man became extinct...as if perhaps we were dispatched here from some 'other' place. can someone verify if this can possibly have any pinch of truth in it. i'm very much into the possibilities of extraterrestrial life...never thought about us being the aliens before.

no he didn't support it, we were just at work one day discussing the possibilities of aliens and whatnot, it does sound made up, and i figured that if it had any possible truth then someone here may have heard something of it. i hold this man in high regard, which is the only reason it's still in my mind. unfortuanetely i'm no longer with the company and so rarely see him to see where he came up with this theory...oh, and that timeline shoulda looked a little more like this: Cro-magnun ------------ ________________human ----------> his suggestiuon was that we evolved on a different planet a very very long time ago and were transported one way or another to here, all about as beleivable and evidence full as the bible. he said otehr things too, but i'm sure someone here either knows without question that we did evolve on this planet or didn't. i'm thinking that he may have meant that also...however i know he said cro-magnon, and i don't think he would confuse the 2, but either way, he's saying that we didn't evolve here. now if neandrathals were evolved from apes, and cro-magnon man comes from a different chain of evolution...what did they come from, or were they always just cro-magnun man since as far back as we can calculate?? i like the alternate ideas taht we just didn't evolve from apes...and furthermore taht we didn't evolve on this planet. i'd liek to hope that this is possible as long as no one can say straightly that we definetely evolved here from 'so and so'

there is a theory that millions of years ago mars had life...suggesting that we may be the descendants from that life. i beleive there are otehr planets out there which we could live and breath on, perhaps not very close to earth. and maybe very long ago before recorded history, there were humans, more intelligent and technologically advanced then we are now. i beleive it says in the bible "he shot lightning in a straight line at the golden calf and melted it" now being that the calf is gold, the electricity should have just ran through it and left it pure...also, lightning doesn't go in a straight line...what's teh only form of light that goes in a straight line and can melt metals??

the holy book is silly i tell you. so many holy books...all saying different stuff. who's right?? we all shun eachother's 'fake' 'god(s)' i guess a god is real as long as their are beleivers... so to eliminate all beleifs and scriptures and beleivers...do you kill the god?? perhaps we don't need god to live, for maybe he needs us to live. do the trees talk when no one is listening?? does the tree make a sound if no one's around?? damn this horribly unexplainable existance, damnit!! Lasers i tell you. lasers!! [This message has been edited by Nexus, 01-31-2004]

"Here is a more interesting question. How did moses divide the red sea? and not only that how could the land below be dry? The answer is simple." the answer is simple...it didn't really happen. i dunno how people can beleive this stuff actually happened... when the snake in my garden tells me not to pick the apples...then i'll look into it...until then...it's as much a fairy tail as jack and the bean stalk. sorry to upset some of you...but santa isn't real eaither
