I believe you are wrong on this point.
beleive it says in the bible "he shot lightning in a straight line at the golden calf and melted it" now being that the calf is gold
This is the actual fate of the gold calf
And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt [it] in the fire, and ground [it] to powder, and strawed [it] upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink [of it].
There are huge difficulties in crossing the vastness of space to another star system the greatest of which is the time necessary for crossing since there is a speed limit of 300,00 kilometers per second and even that is not attainable since as you approach to 30% of the speed of light space becomes abrasive since hydrogen atoms floating free in space become cosmic rays and the crew is subject to lethal radiation. This does not take into account the necessity of providing an enviroment diverse enough and large enough to keep the people travelling that distance from going mad.

Hey I wouldn't feel bad since you obviously had the wherewithal to question the things that had been told you and bring them out in open discussion. This shows some level of sceptism and that is always good to have.

Did you guys miss the bible verse I quoted showing that it was moses
And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt [it] in the fire, and ground [it] to powder, and strawed [it] upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink [of it].
No laser no magic just humans again doing silly human things.
I am curious as to what method he used to grind it to a powder but that is another topic.

Here is a curious question. Where in the desert did they find the fuel to produce a 2400F.degree temperature to melt a large [I assume] gold calf to ashes? Does gold become ash without going through its boiling point of 3080 F?Does gold become ash? or even powder?

Jeez how can the bible be wrong about that simple a thing? God must have intervened and changed the laws of physics in order to allow this to happen.Otherwise our faith is sorrily tested.THATS IT! He is testing our faith! Praise God!

LOL! It is good to see a sense of humour is not absent from your life. Some people take themselves too seriously and I guess it kills the kid inside.

There you go again getting defensive.
The answer is simple. It was gods power through moses. Dont you get it? were are talking about a God that lives in another dimension and is noyt subject to our physical laws
Don't you get it ? The bible verse was very clear.
"And he[Moses] took the calf which they had made, and burnt [it] in the fire, and ground [it] to powder, and strawed [it] upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink [of it]."
It states in black and white the calf was burnt in the fire.
No intervention of God through Moses. It was the blinking fire mate.
Then He ground it to a powder which probably cant be done so we are left with the puzzle.
By the way where did you get the idea that God lives in another dimension? How do you know he is not subject to the laws of physics?
Where do we arrive at that conclusion? The point I was making about the ashes is that a fire could not reduce gold to such a state and could not even have melted it.
As for this one.
How did moses divide the red sea?
Real simple.He didn't.It was a myth.
Hmm.comparing God to a lawyer. Ouch.
