I just thought I'd point out that Kary Mullis, the slightly nutty nobel prize winner and discoverer of the Polymerase Chain Reaction, believes in astrology. If all the evidence he gave for that belief were all true (which I am rather skeptical of), then I wouldn't call it poor quality rational thinking to believe in astrology.Just an interesting aside. No point.
