Creationist Admins

We have several Admins that as Christians, believe that the universe and all that is in it, are the direct consequence of an act of GOD. As such, we are by definition, creationists. What we currently don't have is an admin that believes in the literal Genesis story.IMHO, this is not an issue of atheist vs theist but rather a difference between theistic interpretations.Not one literal creationist has ever been told they could not express their opinions. Even those who have been quarantined in bootcamp have been allowed to say anything they wish. They have been told many times that if they will begin debating in good faith, follow the same guidelines as all other posters, stop accusing everyone else of lying or being dishonest, that full posting privilages can be returned.The situation is totally in their control. Ken, whatever, WILLOWTREE, JAD can certainly determine their own fate.

MikeLet me point out one other thing. Jason has always had the ability to email one of the admins to ask that a suspension or banning be removed. TTBOMK, he has never approached any of us. He has never acknowledged that what he is doing is wrong, has told us under several aliases the he will continue doing it and has followed up by opening yet more accounts.I don't see how we can take any other action than simply banning each incarnation as they crop up.

Well, I never thought it was. But I did want to make it clear that the Admins' actions were not related to content or opinions, but to behaviour. Jason can be welcomed back if he starts behaving and following the rules. He would be expected to join honestly and to spend some time in Bootcamp to show that he is serious about following the rules.

Maybe I can answer your questions or at least try to.Almost no admin duties are by request.It does entail reading a bunch of threads you really are not all that interested in.It means that you have to hold off in many threads where you may have to act as a moderator, and so limits to some extent what you can say or do.
