right, and as the resident software tester... here's the evaluation:

All functions look cool, EXCEPT.. the "float" function is pretty useless.
​
If you use the "float" function to move the chat window to it's own window (which frees up your web browser), as soon as you use the web browser to navigate away from the chat window, the chat logs out. So the "float" function is completely pointless. At least, that was the case with IE 6.0 (keeps "float" window open but logs you out) and Firefox 1.5 (closes "float" window) on Windows XP Home.

Right. That would work. Starting a second window removes the entire usefulness of "float" (at least without tabbed browsing). With tabbed browsing, I can see how you can work around it.

What browser / version are you using?

You may have Javascript disabled or you may need to download the Java virtual machine... let me know what browser...
