A Challenge for Bush Supporters
I have a simple question that I hope is not too far off topic.
Is there any single decision, foreign or domestic, where the current US administration has actually done the right thing or made the right call? Is there any evidence that they have nothing but contempt for diplomacy, military strategy and tactics, economics, sound fiscal policies, the Constitution and Bill of Rights, science, education, the basic well being of the citizens or even the majority of their own current and former supporters?
If anyone can find something, or more properly, anything to defend it can always be moved to a new forum.

Y'all may not like the White House, and I'm not writing to defend it, but in this case, blaming folks for something that was done by a subordinate organization is really just one more piece of evidence that politics is treated every bit as religiously as young earth creationism is. Who cares what's true as long as it can be used as a piece of evidence for your point of view?
Sorry, this is a bullshit excuse. The difference between an effective manager of any organization and one that is irresponsible is accountability. It is the coward and, in the long run, fool who blames all management failures upon subordinates. It is the responsible manager who sets the tone for the subordinates in any hierarchical and organized activity.
Such an attitude of excuse the leader for the actions of the followers is reminiscent of the so-oft quoted attitude of the German populace in regard to the Holocaust. How many times have I read the opinion 'Hitler was the good guy, it was the actions of a few bad people under him that led to such inhumanity.' More times than I can count.
History proves this excuse for the lack of any semblance of leadership or responsibility is perhaps the worst ever given.
