Geologic column
That would be an off topic explanation. If it is important to discuss then it can have a new topic.
{Adminnemooseus addition - I remind all, that this topic has a very clear cut theme of shallow seas, on the continents. Can we stay on or close to that theme?}

stay on topic
You keep bringing up dates in threads where they are not directly relevant.
If you have such a terribly hang up on them why don't you hold off on these other threads for a bit (you wouldn't want to get over streached) and go to the dates and dating forum to express you evidence for why it is wrong.
Then you can present evidence for the 'real' dates.
So you have a couple of choise:
1) drop the off topic tirades against dates until they are actually important to the conversation and finish with what you have already started.
2)Take a break and show how the dating is wrong.
and I gues we can add a third.
3) Try to support your statements in dating in addition to the others. This, I think, is too big a job right now.

Re: good old 1-2 punch
(this should have been NosyNed not AdminNosy, ooops)
You should note that something which only killed a lot of the life on earth, not all, leaves a clearly identifiable point in the geology. Your flood which it seems was supposed to have been more devestating has left nothing?
You need only to point to perhaps a dozen places around the world where there is a record of it if you think it's record was somehow erased in such a short time.
And as for your raising and receeding: Biblical references please?
