"m just wondering whether anyone has ever been persuaded to change their mind from evolution to creationism, or creationism to evolution by coming here? "
--Yes. I don't know exactly when, but probably about after the first 8-14 months on the board I altered my POV from a Young Earth Creationist to something of which I have no term. Basically I am a "creationist" who really doesn't claim to know, or ascribe, to a certain age of the earth. Though from my scientific studies I think the earth could be no younger than a couple hundred thousand years, probably a few My(but that is just ambiguous speculation on my part). The earth may very well be 4.6 By, and a global flood as given in genesis may never have occured. I am merely 17 and have my life to engage in studies and uncover the veracity of a global flood and a younger earth than given in uniformitarian geology.
The alteration in my POV while being influenced very much by my many discussions in this forum has also been influenced greatly by my independent research in geology and various geosciences.
